This wetland is home to cattails, frogs, turtles, dragonflies, and many other animals and plants. People once thought wetlands were useless and many were destroyed. Now we understand that wetlands are not only valuable wildlife habitats, they also clean our water supplies, help control floods, and protect the shoreline along rivers.

It may look messy, but it’s home for so many creatures! Stay awhile and discover who is hidden here.
