Pollinator Garden Project
Pollinator gardens are designed to attract beneficial pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. It is considered best to use native plants that will replicate the natural habitat of these pollinators while providing host and nectar plants. These gardens play an important role in supporting pollinators since their populations have been declining. Hudson Crossing Park is planting native plants as a part of our Pollinator Garden Project. We have installed pollinator gardens at Eagle Point and the Play Garden using native flowers and grasses that will support our local pollinators. If you are interested in learning more about the plants or creating your very own pollinator garden, look at our list of native flowers. Be sure to look for pollinators visiting our gardens next time you visit!
