The Picnic Pavilion

Designed to provide cover while being open to the surrounding natural beauty, Hudson Crossing's beautiful and unique picnic pavilion is truly a perfect location to rest, enjoy a picnic lunch, or gather with friends and family. Equipped with wheelchair accessible picnic tables, the pavilion seats approximately 50 and is available at a first come, first serve basis. If you are interested in reserving the pavilion for a meeting or private event, please visit our Reserve page.

Education and HCP Events

The Hudson Crossing Park pavilion serves as home base for many of our education programming activities and special events. Visitors to the park will often see classes and clubs with HCP educators working on projects, conducting experiments, or enjoying lunch or a snack before heading out to explore the park. On days that Hudson Crossing Park is hosting a special event, stop by the pavilion for fun activities, information about the park, or just stop by to chat with park staff and volunteers.

Fundraisers

Often used as a turning point or staging area for bike races, triathlons, fundraising walks, and more, the pavilion is a natural location for organizers and participants to meet, organize, or gear up for the next leg of their journey.

Private Events

Whether it's for birthday parties, family reunions, or just a casual gathering, Hudson Crossing Park invites the public to celebrate in style under the pavilion. Pavilion use is first come first serve, so if you are having a larger group we do recommend that you reserve the space. Otherwise, please enjoy the company of your neighbors and enjoy the time with new friends!
