Rethink!
Rethink!
It took some re-thinking to help this island become a park.
Can you believe it? This island was once littered with trash! Young people began creating Hudson Crossing Park by removing truckloads of old machinery, tires, furniture, paint cans, glass, plastic bottles, and garbage.
You can help too. Together we can care for this park by reducing, reusing, recycling, and rethinking our choices.
One littered plastic six pack holder can choke an animal…fifty recycled plastic bottles can make a fleece pullover shirt.
Recycling is a choice that makes a difference.
Every day scientists are working to invent new biodegradable materials and ways to recycle. Think about it…what recycling choices can you make?
