Water - Precious and Finite
Water – Precious and Finite
Water flows through everything that lives…snapping turtles and maple tree…daffodils and dragonflies…great blue herons and you!
Water connects us all. Because water cycles through time and place, drops of this water have quenched the thirds of dinosaurs, carried native people’s canoes, falling in distant rainforests, and frozen in glaciers. Flowing from sky to river to ocean, it brings life to our fields, farms, forests, factories, and homes. Water brought the first people hear and continues to sustain us today.
Water seems abundant to us, but to many in our world, clean water is scarce. When you conserve and care for water locally you are part of a global solution.
Look at a handful of water…
Where has it been?
What has it been?
Where will it be next?
