Follow the Old Champlain Canal Towpath south to the village of Schuylerville, Saratoga Monument, and Schuyler House.
Explore Stark’s Knob Scientific Reservation and the Oxen Sculpture at Knox Trail Pocket Park off New York State Route 4 Scenic Byway.
Visit Lock C-5 and the historic site of the original Champlain Canal Junction Lock.
Walk the Island Loop Trail to Eagle Point and look for the Historic Lock 10 site.
Enjoy the view from the Historic Dix Bridge of the site of General Burgoyne’s Bridge of Boats, the historic Governor Dix Estate, and the old route of the Battenkill River.
Take the Riverwalk Trail to the Alfred Z. Solomon Kayak Launch.
Park grounds are yours to enjoy from sunrise to sunset.
