Ukulele Meet Up and Benefit for Revolution Cafe

Uke Meet Up and Benefit for Revolution Cafe
Led by Rural Soul Music Instructor Chelsie Henderson

Sunday, October 4

4:00-5:00 pm

Hudson Crossing Park: Picnic Pavilion Area

Revolution Cafe has been a pillar in this community since opening in 2016.  During the pandemic, many small businesses were forced to close as they were deemed "nonessential".  Being the amazing local advocate that she is, Cassie, the owner of Revolution Cafe, stepped in and raised money for our local businesses with her famous "Friday Couch Helping Community Day".

Just recently the Rev Cafe family's lives changed as they discovered that Cassie's partner (in life and business) has cancer.  In order to alleviate some financial stress in their upcoming journey, we are happy to be hosting a ukulele meet up with Rural Soul Music Studio at the Hudson Crossing Park pavilion to raise funds - and raise our voices - in support of Cassie and her family.

Stay tuned for a large fundraising raffle, organized by Bound by Fate Brewing, Cake by Alissa and Stella's Salon.

Any donation amount is greatly appreciated!

Bring your mask, ukulele, chair, music stand (if you have one!), and anything else you need to be comfortable.
For uke enthusiasts of all levels, ages 8+
Please contact Chelsie to register: music@ruralsoul.com

If you need an ukulele, reach out to your local library (Easton, Greenwich, Schuylerville or Stillwater) to borrow one!

Note that we will wear masks before and after class while setting up and breaking down, sit a minimum of 6 feet apart (unless family members are playing together and may sit close to one another), and bring our own instruments and chairs.   There is a restroom on site and we have extra hand sanitizer and wipes to share.
